Brought about by a bunch of tangerines from my mother, on the day we were to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Round fruits are considered to be a symbol of good fortune, and are prevalent during the new year celebrations. Strong and steadfast, the Year of the Ox is said to bring about its blessings with hard work and perseverance.
